Multiple Artists Picture Book Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

In 1750 Shūzan Yoshimura edited a picture book entitled Wakan Meihitsu Gaei (Selection of Japanese and Chinese Masterpieces). The book’s forty-eight pictures of flowers and (or) birds drawn by Japanese artists, mostly by Tan’yū Kanō, are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
